Dr. Michael Benjamin started his practice in West Hills, California in 2004.  He graduated with highest honors from University of Florida as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  In 1998 he graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans as a member of the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha.  He completed residency and fellowship training at Emory University and the Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta.  He has admitting privileges at West Hills Hospital, Simi Valley Hospital, Providence Tarzana Hospital, and Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills.  He maintains offices in West Hills and Simi Valley.  He is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology through the American Board of Internal Medicine.  Dr. Benjamin has maintained a strong commitment to community service. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for West Hills Hospital, and has served on a number of committees at the hospital, currently chairing the Peer Review Committee and the Continuing Medical Education Committee.  He has also served as chair of the Bioethics and Internal Review Board Committee, and was Chief of the Department of Medicine for four years.  He has also served on the Quality Committee and the Transfusion Committee.  He is Scoutmaster for Troop 22 in Woodland Hills.  In his free time he enjoys boating, camping, and guitar.

 

Dr. Suzy Melkonian has been providing high quality medical services in Hematology and Oncology in the Mission Hills, Porter Ranch, and the Greater San Fernando Valley for over 20 years. She has admitting privileges at Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, Simi Valley Hospital, and West Hills Hospital.  She has led the tumor board at Holy Cross Hospital for many years. She provides expert medical care in the fields of Hematology and Oncology and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her offices in Mission Hills and Simi Valley offer full service consultation and treatment in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Melkonian graduated from the Rosalind Franklin University/ Chicago Medical School.  She enjoys gardening and spending time with her three daughters in her free time.
